My mug shots …

Here’s my story …
Is malice ever justified? Let me share my story and we’ll see what you think.

Eskridge Heights is a quaint suburb area, nice school, each home has a fenced backyard and a pet. There’s a few cats scattered around such as Cheerio and Buttons, but they’re both indoor cats. The real problem in this otherwise quiet area are the dogs, especially two of them.

It all started when I was out sniffing the Monroe’s trash cans the other day, looking for a way to remove the lid. The Monroe’s clearly had salmon the previous night and now the whole pet world “nose”. With my paw on the handle, two off-leash dogs stumbled onto MY lunch scene. One was a chocolate lab named “Mister Brown”, and the other was a poodle named “Bubbles”.

“Hey look, it’s that stupid hairy grey cat.”, Mister Brown announced.

“Trying to steal our lunch, are you?” added Bubbles.

I pulled back, and extended my claws for defensive reasons only.

“Look, the kitty wants to play.”

I tried to reason, “I was here first. I get first dibs. Whatever I don’t want you can most surely have.”
“Funny, the cat thinks he can negotiate with us? Do you know who we are?”, Mister Brown asked.
“Bullies? Rude, obnoxious dogs who think they can do whatever they want? Ugly? Juvenile? Uncouth?”, I answered honestly.

“Yah. That’s us. Now if your smart, you’d run along and leave us to our salmon.”
“Or what?” I challenged.

Both of the dogs growled then leaped teeth first for my throat.
I scrambled to the side then raced down the sidewalk. They chased after me, barking and yelling expletives.

I jetted up a nearby oak tree.

The dogs circled for a few minutes then returned back to the trash can, knocked it over, then devoured my precious lunch.

Yes, just like my name, I watched in malice as I grinded my teeth and clawed the branch.
One day, I will have my revenge.

So what do you think? Is it ever OK to be evil, to seek payback for the wrongs against you?
How should I get back at those horrible dogs?
